Rebar: On June 22, the average price of 20mm Grade III seismic rebar in 31 major cities across China was 3,345 yuan per ton, down 16 yuan per ton from the previous trading day. Recent spot market fundamentals remain weak on both supply and demand sides. However, the firm trend in raw material prices such as coke has provided strong bottom support for steel spot prices from the cost side, limiting further price declines.

Hot-rolled coil: On June 22, the average price of 4.75mm hot-rolled coil in 24 major cities across the country was 3,369 yuan per ton, down 11 yuan per ton from the previous trading day. Downstream demand for steel plates slowed, amplifying the characteristics of the off-season, while steel inventories continued to accumulate.

Cold-rolled coil: On June 22, the average price of 1.0mm cold-rolled coil in 24 major cities across China was 3,845 yuan/ton, down 3 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. The price gap between cold-rolled and hot-rolled products remained at a low level. The market exhibited typical characteristics of the off-season with weak demand, and intermediaries showed little enthusiasm for cross-regional trading, resulting in a subdued market transaction atmosphere. Overall, under the pressure of sluggish transactions, spot prices weakened. However, steel mills maintained normal resource supply, and overall inventory pressure was moderate. Supported by cost factors, short-term cold-rolled prices showed limited volatility.

Thick Plate: On June 22, the average price of 20mm general plate in 24 major cities across China was 3,539 yuan/ton, down 5 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. On the supply side, steel mills producing thick plates maintained stable operating rates, with utilization rates fluctuating narrowly. Mills prioritized fulfilling high-value locked-price orders for shipbuilding, wind power, and pressure vessels, while the release of general plate resources slowed. Thick plates exhibited a pattern of high production but tight circulation, with strong market support for prices.
